Services: Garbage and Trash Pickup

WHAT	WHEN	WHERE	HOW	REQUIREMENTS
Garbage	Mondays and Thursdays before 6 a.m.	Outside garage and visible from the street	In garbage cans or plastic bags. Must not exceed 50 lbs. each	Must not contain recyclable materials
Commingled Containers (Glass, Plastic, etc.)	Wednesdays before 6 a.m.	At the curb	In any recycling bin	See other side for list of materials. Do not place on street pavement
Commingled Paper and corrugated cardboard	Wednesdays before 6 a.m.	At the curb	In any recycling bin	See other side for list of materials. Cardboard must be flattened and tied.
Bulky Items – Furniture, mattresses, rugs, etc.	Thursdays before 6 a.m.	At the curb	5 item limit per collection	Do not place on street pavement
Bulky Metal Items –White goods, outdoor metal furniture, etc. Doors removed	1st and 3rd Thursday of each month	At the curb		Call 353-5678 to arrange for collection
Construction & demolition debris, lumber, roofing, stone, etc.	These items are not included in your waste collection			You must contact a private hauler to arrange for collection.
Leaves and grass clippings	Wed. before 6 a.m.	At the curb	In biodegradable paper bags only. No plastic bags or boxes.	Collection provided May 1 to December 1st
Brush	Wed. before 6 a.m.	At the curb	Bundled & tied with twine. No longer than 3 feet.	Collection provided April 1 through the last Wednesday in Dec
Hazardous Waste	These items are not included in your waste collection		Bring these items to the HHW Facility in Pomona Hotline # 364-2444
